Follow normal grooming procedures. Comb out any loose undercoat. Apply directly to mats to loosen and then comb out. If the coat remains badly matted, rewash to remove any remaining dirt. For optimal results: Use dryer, brush longer coated breeds until dry. NO NEED TO USE A LOT Each individual hair shaft has maximum absorption capabilities, most simply indicated by feeling a change in the coat texture. Towel off excess. PRE-SHOW PREP / HAND SCISSORING For clean coats only. Lightly mist dog’s coat. Follow with preferred grooming routine. CAUTION Avoid contact with eyes. Should this happen, flush with water for 15 minutes. Avoid overspray to prevent slippery surfaces. Protect floor with newspaper and/or wash floor with detergent when finished. Lift dog off the grooming table.
